Sorry for the lack of posts recently but we have been away for a few weeks on a birding road trip. The trip began in the early hours of the 8th of december when we set off to go and see the Dusky Thrush at Beeley in Derbyshire, having successfully seen this cracking bird we set off to Norfolk to meet up with are birding buddies Paul Brad and Jake for a few days birding there.

 The first good views.
Heading into the masses in the hope of a picture and better views.
 The Three Swallows ,Cley ,Norfolk.
Brad ,Myself ,Kerry ,Jake and Paul looking pretty happy with ourselves as we met up at The Three Swallows pub at Cley in Norfolk after all of us had seen the Dusky Thrush earlier in the day.
Celebrating in style.
First winter female Dusky Thrush, well worth the trip.
