Just got back from a week on the Isles of Scilly the highlight being this superb Alpine Swift ,will post some more pictures of the Swift and a full trip report over the next few days.

As promised a couple of shots of the Dalmatian Pelican over lands end this morning this bird was seen in Poland in mid april and is potentially a first for britain.

Had an amazing morning at land end today ,firstly i relocated the adult Dalmatian Pelican ,pictures to follow but i found a male Serin too near the car park ,during the course of the next few hours we also had Osprey and Marsh Harrier over ,incidentally the Dalmatian Pelican could be potentially be the first for britian.

Went to Godrevy after work today and had this cracking male Dartford Warbler.

Paul Freestone and i carried out our second ringing session early yesterday morning at the Watermill wildlife garden and were delighted to trap and ring this splended Nuthatch along with Coal Tit and male Blackcap.
