Raddes warbler. St leven.
Having missed a Raddes warbler on the Scillies, i stopped off at st leven when i got back and had decent views of this one, albeit in the gloom.

Just got back from a week in the Isles of Scilly so sorry for not having any posts recently,anyway heres a selection of some of my best shots.Although one of the quietist octobers for some years still had a great time.

Just managed to capture the bird with its tail cocked.
Citrine wagtail. Simpsons field. Tresco.
This was probally the best bird of the trip ,possibly adult female.This was the best shot i could manage as the bird was some distance.
Black redstart. Holy vale. St marys.
There were several black reds on the islands, this one was feeding in one of the small vinyards at the top of Holy vale.
Whooper swan. Big pool. St agnes
One of the highlights of my trip was photographing these superb Whooper swans feeding in the late october sunshine,there were six in total.
