One of the three Cattle Egrets that landed on the estuary this morning ,presumably the same birds that my mate Brad found in St Erth earlier in the morning.

Distant record shot of the first winter Caspian Gull on the Hayle estuary this week ,note the very long legs compared to the Herring gulls around it .

The gull experts continue to confound me with their inability to tell one splotchy white bird from another!
