With the kind permission of Frank Symmes the landlord and owner of the Watermill pub in Lelant Cornwall Kerry and myself have set up a bird feeding station ,the copses ,gardens and the surrounding countryside offer an abundance of birds and other wildlife,through this blog we hope to keep you updated with as much news as possible.

 Myself next to the feeding station ,with the help of Frank and my good friend Paul Freestone we plan to set up more feeders and will soon be erecting various nestboxes .

 View from the patio area Grey Wagtail is often seen here and actually bred a couple of years ago , the copse also has Jay ,Great Spotted Woodpecker,Coal Tit ,Blackcap and occasional Nuthatch and Green Woodpecker,i have also had Pied and Spotted flycatcher here in autumn.

 View from the bridge looking downstream towards the northern copse and in the distance the feeding station area ,this part of the stream is an excellent place to watch dDragonflies and Damoiselles in summer.

Although the feeding station has only been up and running a few days  the Goldfinches have already discovered the niger seed.
